The article is devoted to the problem of studying features development exterior horses Polesie population Ukraine. A survey Sherbaty Zugli farm, which are kept on basis Ecological Research Station "Glyboki Balyky" Obukhovskyi district Kyivska region, was carried out. Today, herd has 22 heads. Measurements, assessment exterior, movements, temperament and performance studied animals different ages were Animals evaluated according target standard main conformation traits horse population. According results a comprehensive population, it found that young born in 2020–2021 sufficiently developed for their age. Horses 2.5 years age almost as large adult animals. difference determined only by girth chest (6.4 cm). There also rapid achievement physiological maturity, characteristic native breeds.
 It noted well typical representatives local breeds, characterized by: rectangular shape body (92.0 ± 0.84), head (96.8 1.31), fairly pronounced right angle forearm (106.0 1.07), small-sickle limbs (96.0 1.69) bone proportional size (100.0 0.84). slight variability coefficient variation (2.28–7.28%) established.
